What
is the process for ordering custom work?
To
initiate the process, you place an order for the item or items
that you wish to purchase, either on our online store, or
through or toll-free number 1-800-293-6049. Please note that
some items on our website are available for purchase only
through our online store. Once you place an order, you will
receive a questionnaire which must be completed and returned
to us via email to sales@pocket-poet.com, or via facsimile:
646-304-7418. The questionnaire provides us with the information
we need to begin work on your project. Once you have returned
the questionnaire, based on its contents we select a writer
who is available to work on your project immediately. The
writer may contact you requesting additional information.
You will have the opportunity to tell us how you wish to be
contacted (telephone, email, fax, etc.). The writer will provide
you a draft of your original work within one business day
after providing him or her with the information requested.
You will then have the opportunity to review the draft and
provide feedback. It is important that you be honest with
your feedback and request as many, or as few, changes as required
to make your original toast, speech, roast or poem perfect.
Some of our clients are afraid to insult their writer, however,
we urge you to be honest with your feedback so the original
work can be perfected. Once you have returned the feedback,
your writer will begin redrafting the portions that need revisions
and provide you with a second draft within one business day
after receiving your comments. Remember, your writer may be
attempting to contact you with additional questions, so please
check your email and/or voicemail frequently during this process.
Once the final content is provided and you are completely
satisfied with it, the writer will complete the order. Toasts,
speeches and roasts will have delivery techniques and tips
added to them. Original poems and favors require you to review
printing, paper, graphics and ribbon options with the writer.
Framed poems and announcements will also require your feedback
on framing and matting options. Once the final product is
completed it will be shipped within twenty-four hours.
